Cassandra Lackey joined Lenoir-Rhyne in 2024 as a first-year advisor. In this role, Lackey helps new students navigate their first year with confidence, ensuring they feel supported and equipped for success as they embark on their academic journeys. With her warm personality and dedication to fostering a sense of responsibility and pride in the community, Lackey inspires and empowers every student that she meets.

Lackey is an advocate for community involvement. She has previously organized various service projects and educational workshops, encouraging students to contribute to their communities. She believes in creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every student is valued and can thrive both academically and personally.
